Health and Safety Overview.

Dodman believe Health and safety is an integral part of its business. We have a dedicated H&S manager who works with our engineers to consider health and safety at all stages of a project or task. Once a specification has been agreed with the client, we will produce detailed RA/MS packs (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) in order to identify and control all significant hazards. Dodman believe the key to effective health and safety management is to review and continually improve policies and procedures.

In order to achieve this, all Dodman employees undergo job specific and industry based training, employees are trained in a wide range of safety related subjects. Examples are: Confined Space, Manual handling, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive wheels, Mechanical lifting and MEWP and Fire Awareness. All training is reviewed regularly and refresher training carried out. Dodman also strongly believe in the well being of its employees and offer health surveillance for, hearing, respiratory and hand-arm vibration, all employees who carry out confined space tasks or operate FLT’s also undertake regular medicals.

Our overriding intention is to work closely with our clients to ensure everybody goes home safely at the end of the working day.

Dodman are accredited to SafeContractor and are annually audited for renewal.
